Designing
a smart charger
Recognising a shift in customer requirements, Atlantic Design has developed a vertically mounted inductive charging holster for customer devices. This allows continued use of the handset whilst charging. The holster is self-adjusting meeting the dimensions of all market leading devices. The product range is currently being sold through our sales and distribution partners EAO UK Ltd.
A key virtue is the inclusion of an 'iBeacon' which creates a 'hand-shake' with the device. This automatically updates seat reservation and occupancy information and links directly to the operators App. Smart ticketing, refreshments and journey information can then be personalised individual seat occupants.
