Wrexham Shropshire and Marlyebone Railways – Universal access toilet

ADPL was invited to create the production design for the universal access toilet on WSMR’s fleet of refurbished MK III Intercity vehicles. The challenge was to provide a low volume, compliant solution to fit the packaging constraints presented by the new and existing vehicle hard points. The project scope included interpretation of the operator’s brand concept, integration of supplier components within the design, installation design, engineering approvals and Department of Transport approval.
